Ms. Marvel: Iman Vellani Hopes for Season 2 Renewal

Iman Vellani hasn’t heard a word about a Ms. Marvel renewal and suggests that fans should get a petition going.

If you’re wondering if Ms. Marvel will get renewed at Disney+, your guess is as good as that of series star Iman Vellani. At this time, the series has not been renewed with no indication that a second season will happen, though the first season does leave the door open for a continuation. We also know Vellani will be back as Ms. Marvel on the big screen for The Marvels, but whether she’ll be back on Disney+ for more of Ms. Marvel remains to be seen.

The subject of renewal was brought up to Vellani in a chat with Deadline at the D23 Expo. She was asked about the prospects of Ms. Marvel season 2 happening, and for her part, Vellani still has no idea. While she doesn’t know whether or not there will ever be more episodes of the show, Vellani adds that she hopes the series does get renewed, suggesting that perhaps those who want a renewal should get a petition going. As Vellani puts it:

“They don’t tell me anything. So, you’re not going to hear anything [from me]. Hopefully. Yeah, we’ve got to start a petition or something.”
